This was kind of a nice task from the VOC13 team to ”Create a learning environment where you can interact with the working community of the vocational field of your choice. You can introduce an existing one or you can create a new one.”
My dream environment would be a kind of an amusement park for working community. What it would offer would be all the equipment one would need for working on their own (power source, WiFi, desk, beer). It would also have something for workshop facilitators (flap boards, markers, postits) and of cource it would have quiet spaces for meetings.
The space would have bar, coffee and a lunch servise and also services for facilitating or expertise. It would be open until evening. People could pay for what they need, for example a cup of coffee but also a monthly fee would be plausible for desk/equipment usage and with that you could drink as much coffee as you needed:)
